14:45 – 15:00: By car to Bosch Hinges
15:00 – 16:30: Visit to the production site of Bosch Hinges
16:30 – 17:00: Questions, closing and soft drinks in the Bosch Hinges canteen

We start the day at Innovatiecentrum De Steck in Doetinchem, Raadhuisstraat 25, and drive to Bosch Hinges Voltastraat 84, 7006 RW Doetinchem.

QRM as a method to respond to changing customer demand
For years, our company has been considered one of the best practice companies in the field of process improvement. With in particular the implementation of lean manufacturing and Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM). It allowed our company to be even more flexible in responding to customer demand, wanting products ever faster, more cost-efficiently and in smaller quantities. With the implementation of QRM and a fully automated production planning and shop floor execution syatem, we were able to specialize even more in the production of medium and small series of industrial hinges from 25 to 2500 pieces. Complex customized work of high quality with short delivery times. Our hinge makers work independently, with great job satisfaction in a tidy and orderly environment.
