For the bike shelters at the station, we set to work with a special and extraordinarily user-friendly hinge: ‘a hinge that doesn’t hinge’. Our custom-made hinges are used as a glass clamp for the glass canopy above the bicycle racks. The hinges are placed on curved tempered glass, which is attached to the gutters with the glass clamps. Through these gutters the rainwater is drained away so that the bicycles remain dry even in less summer weather.
Quick mounting glass hinges for extra convenience
The advantage of these hinges is the very simple and quick assembly. Even if the glass needs to be replaced in due time.
